Product Name: GP2BC for NFP/GOV (GP2BC.info)

Target Market: Microsoft Dynamics GP (Great Plains/GP) nonprofit, government, and quasi-government organizations preparing for the 2029 sunset of Dynamics GP.

GP2BC for NFP/GOV is designed for certified Microsoft and Tangicloud partners who support existing GP customers seeking a financially sustainable, nonprofit-aligned path into the Microsoft cloud. The product serves organizations whose fund accounting and grant management needs cannot be met by base Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) alone.

Partners must have a working knowledge of both GP and BC, as well as familiarity with fund accounting concepts common across nonprofit and public sector entities. ALSO: GDAP permissions are required for any implementation where Tangicloud Professional Services are involved.

PRODUCT OVERVIEW

GP2BC for NFP/GOV is a streamlined, cost-effective version of Tangicloud Fundamentals, purpose-built to help GP customers transition to Business Central without losing the critical fund accounting features they rely on. It bridges the functional gaps between GP and BC by combining Tangicloud's robust fund accounting capabilities with BC’s modern user interface and cloud-native experience.

ADVANCED FUND ACCOUNTING

Organizations may set up an unlimited number of funds—each representing a unique purpose, program, or cost center. GP2BC enforces balanced debits and credits at the fund level, creating fully separated balance sheets within a single company.

Funds may also support multi-entity balancing (e.g., stores, locations, business units). Balancing can occur through automatic inter-fund entries or through distribution methods that eliminate most manual due-to/due-from transactions. Properly configured, GP2BC ensures accurate tracking of fund class and fund type for streamlined compliance reporting. Advanced Fund Accounting also includes grant management on the fund card and posts the grant currency amounts to the GL.

ADVANCED GENERAL LEDGER WITH 8 GLOBAL DIMENSIONS

Organizations may retain their existing chart of accounts or adopt an industry-standard design. GP2BC supports:

ADVANCED FINANCIAL REPORTING

Tangicloud has made many improvements to the base Business Central Financial and Trial Balance reports:

·      Style Sheets to allow formatting of fonts and colors

·      Numbers sent as numbers to Excel

·      Pagination by fund and dimension

·      Multiple trial balance report options based on suggestions from GP partners

·      Drill-down to GL from Financial reports

ENCUMBRANCE ACCOUNTING

Purchase Orders generate encumbrances at header and line levels to help customers track “obligations” made pending invoices. Adding our optional Budget Rules allows users to track availability of funds during data entry to control budgets better.

USER-DEFINED FIELDS

Common master tables such as Vendor, Customer and Item allow the user to add fields to the Ui without customizations

VALIDATION AND DATA ACCESS RULES

With the addition of 6 global dimensions plus Fund, Fund Class and Fund Type to the GL, Validation Rules make it much easier to setup rules to restrict data entry across funds, G/L Accounts, dimensions, as well as other data elements like Users, Security Groups and master data tables. Data access can be limited by User to restrict data by master data elements and dimensions.

*Team User pricing includes one app per user. Additional apps may be added at the same price. At present, users cannot subscribe to different app combinations individually; please consult Tangicloud Sales for guidance.

PRICING

GP2BC for NFP/GOV is sold as an annual subscription on a Per User Per Year (PUPY) basis, billed in advance.

• Full User: $550 PUPY
• Team User: $60 PUPY

These prices are in addition to customers’ standard Microsoft Business Central license costs, and user counts must match between BC and GP2BC.

Tangicloud follows Microsoft’s definitions of Full and Team User licensing. (Insert link once available.)

All subscriptions begin on the first day of the month and end on the last day of the month. New licenses may be added at any time and will be prorated. License reductions follow Microsoft policy and may only occur in the renewal month. Refunds are not provided.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How long will the $550 price last?
Through at least September 2029, aligning with Microsoft’s GP sunset timeline. Tangicloud may apply annual cost-of-living adjustments of approximately 3–5%, but no significant price increases will occur before the sunset date.

Does my existing Partner Agreement cover this product?
Yes. While we plan to update Partner Agreements in 2026, your current agreement remains valid. You are welcome to request an updated version at any time.

Do partner margins change for GP2BC for NFP/GOV?
No. Tangicloud continues to offer a standard 20% margin for the first year.

When can I begin selling GP2BC?
Immediately. Partners should evaluate each customer’s needs carefully; some organizations may still require the broader functionality of Tangicloud Fundamentals.
