Thank you for the work you do to ensure that our Industry Solution, Fundamentals, and all of our Tangicloud apps are successful in the market and useful for our nonprofit and government communities.
Implementation Partner Program Overview
With the launch of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Microsoft’s focus on helping organizations move to the Microsoft cloud, some partners have found themselves a little short of Business Central resources.
At the same time, in 2020 Covid 19 showed the world that independent consulting from a home or home office is a viable business model for talented people.
Tangicloud is happy to work with independent consultants who have industry expertise and Business Central/Dynamics NAV experience to better serve the nonprofit and government marketplace.
If you choose to become an implementation partner, Tangicloud (or one of our Industry Specialist Partners) will handle the software sales and include your services in our SOWs for a mutually acceptable fee and/or hourly rate.
Here’s how it works:
One: Qualifying as an Independent Consultant
While Tangicloud will not ask for any partner fee to become an independent consultant for Fundamentals, we do ask that you sign and take seriously a Mutual Non-Disclosure agreement. Once engaged, you are responsible for using Fundamentals and other Tangicloud software professionally and with appropriate discretion.
We will be happy to share an interview session (approximately 30 minutes) to go over such qualifying topics as:
· Experience in either serving nonprofits or governments
· Microsoft certifications for Business Central
· Qualifications/certifications in fund accounting
Tangicloud will keep a contact list of Independent Consultants to refer to other partners, but we cannot guarantee any specific workload you might be seeking.
Two: Finding Opportunities
When an opportunity arises with a nonprofit or government organization, a member of the Tangicloud App Partner program will conduct sales calls, demonstrations, and closing services. These partners “own” the end-user they serve. You are not entitled to any software margins or sales bonuses, even if the opportunity closes with your help, unless you and the App Partner have an agreement in place for such a circumstance.
In another scenario, Tangicloud expects that some partners may find themselves short of consulting services from time-to-time. They may contact us for a little help and we, in turn, will introduce you as an independent consultant to the partner and together you will outline customer needs and service hours required.
Three: Project Engagement
You may work with any Industry Specialist Partner you choose if you and the partner are satisfied. Tangicloud is NOT responsible for your professional-to-professional relationship, nor do we give or accept any referral fees in this situation. We recommend that you only work with one partner at a time, but this is your independent consulting practice, so you will be the final judge for appropriate workload.
Please note that hourly rates vary from region to region and sale by sale. We cannot tell you what rates you should ask for or expect.
